On 7th May the DAGS Class of 1971 returned to the Schools 50 years on for tea, scones and a tour. It was a thoroughly enjoyable event, best recounted in the words of one of the ‘Old Girls’ present:
“I had no idea what to expect when told we were being given a tour of our old stomping ground, but can honestly say, it far exceeded my expectations. It was fantastic to see all our remembered classrooms but the best part was being with our group of old classmates. So many different memories to mine added to as well as being a great place to meet and break the ice for those of us who were feeling a bit nervous. A fantastic experience and hopefully one I won't forget!”
