The new millennium was significant for the Schools as it heralded the approach of the Schools' tercentenary. Along with celebrations and commemorations to mark this auspicious event, philanthropic support enabled library and computing teaching facilities to be enhanced.
The Noughties was also a significant phase for the governors' development master plan. The A-E block was demolished, replaced by a new Sixth Form Centre, classrooms and a purpose-built Dance Studio. This phase of development concluded with the visit of Her Majesty the Queen in 2006 to name the Sixth Form Centre, the Queen’s Building.
In 2008, the sports facilities were improved with the creation of an all-weather astro-turf pitch for hockey and tennis, replacing the courts behind Fenham Hall Drive.
