Until the early 2010s, Junior School teaching was split between two sites, Linden School in Forest Hall and the Senior Schools in Fenham. During the transition from the 2000s to the 2010s, governors focused on establishing an adaptable Junior School on a single site. They acquired the Hunter's Moor Hospital site in Spittal Tongues, initiating construction promptly.
In 2012, the Junior School and Nursery opened, allowing the sale of Forest Hall Junior School and a corner yard. With the Reece Foundation's generous support, classrooms 1 to 4 in the Girls' School were expanded and converted into the advanced Alan Reece Technology Centre, complementing new tennis facilities on the main site.
